Vancouver Update: Cute Stools

Fall is definitely in the air (ugh) and we've been working hard on cozying up the shop here in Vancouver. Well, Glenda'sbeen working hard rearranging and painting (photos to come!),but I've been cheering; that counts for something, right?? She's just such a whiz, I don't want to get in the way ;p [caption id="attachment_3010" align="aligncenter" caption="Maple Pod Storage Stool $112"][/caption] At any rate, two of my favourite cozy pieces in the shop right now for feathering one's nest are a pair of vintage re-upholstered stools. The one pictured above needed a new home after our gal Margaret recently moved into a new house and is looking very fresh and spiffy with new heavyweight linen covering the seat. Despite being covered with a rather dingy green needlepoint fabric (sounds intriguing but wasn't--trust me),the wee guy pictured below was too cute for me to leave behind on a recent trip to Seattle. He is looking much improved, with his new seat covered with the über-spooky but beautiful medical utensils print (one of my all-time favourites). Glenda has everything arranged so nicely on a cute little bookshelf that I thought I should share.

Have fun in the rain today! Erin
