As you probably know, I'm the matchy gal around here. Vancouver customers are definitely used to my colour coordinated quirk. Yesterday I was wearing the same shade of magenta Lily wristwarmers and scarf. Today I'm wearing a kelly green wool Lily miniskirt with a cashmere cardigan I found second-hand in the exact same shade! I just can't help it. I would have gone crazy in the 1950's with all the matching hats and purses, so dreamy. So...the other day when taking photos of the new Mt. Hood sweatshirt I went a little matchy. And...craving colour, during these almost black and white days with snow, I amped up the colour scheme at tad.
The Mt. Hood is the icing on the cake here! This colour is called "Flint," a soft mid-tone grape purple that will pair well with denim, as well as this happy riot of colour. The hoodie is narrow fitting, with long sleeves, lapped neckline, pockets, and a practical hood. The raglan sleeves look clean (no sloppy seams hanging past your shoulders) and with their wide cuffs your wrist are kept warm. This round is printed with Narwhals!
The Petite Anglaise skirt, with the Dandelion Puff and Poppies screen-print, is a great compliment, in comfort as well as colour. We've been using this bamboo blend French terry for years as it is both soft and durable, a winning combination for casual wear.
Mt. Hood, small through xlarge, $132.
